In short. We collect the least we need to run a booking: your phone number, your name if you give it, the address a job is going to, and what you booked. We do not sell personal data. We share your details with a professional only when you book them, and with a room owner only when you choose to reveal contact details.
1. Who is responsible
Fixora Zone Pvt. Ltd. (Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir, India) is the data fiduciary for personal data processed through the Fixora Zone apps and website. Contact: grievance@fixorazone.com.
2. What we collect
You give us
- Mobile number — the account identifier, verified by one-time password.
- Name, and optionally an email address and photo — profile details.
- Service address — where a booking is to be carried out.
- Booking details — service, slot, price, status and any note you add.
- Listing content — if you publish a room: title, rent, photographs, amenities and location.
Collected automatically
- Device and app data — app version, operating system and crash diagnostics.
- Approximate location — only if you grant permission, and only to show what is available near you. You can refuse and enter an address manually.
- Push token — if you allow notifications, so we can tell you when a professional accepts or sets off.
Payments
Payments are handled by a third-party payment gateway. We never see or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank credentials. We keep only the gateway’s payment reference and the outcome, so a booking can be matched to a payment.
Professionals who onboard to offer services additionally submit KYC documents. Those are stored in restricted, non-public storage and are not visible to customers.
3. Why we use it
- To create and secure your account and verify your number.
- To place, dispatch, track and complete a booking — which requires sharing your name, phone number and service address with the professional who accepts it.
- To take payment and to reconcile it.
- To send transactional messages by push, SMS and in-app notification about your bookings.
- To provide support and to investigate complaints and fraud.
- To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
We do not use your booking data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
4. Who we share it with
- The professional you booked — your name, phone number and service address, so the job can be done. They are independent and are separately responsible for how they handle it.
- Room owners— nothing about you is sent to an owner automatically. Revealing an owner’s number is your action, and what you then share with them is between you and them.
- Service providers — cloud hosting, database, authentication, push messaging, SMS delivery and the payment gateway, each processing only what their function requires.
- Authorities — where required by law, court order or a valid legal request.
5. Choices we made to limit exposure
- Company number for services. You see our number, not a professional’s personal one, and they do not get yours beyond the booking.
- Contact reveals are rate limited.Room owners’ numbers cannot be collected in bulk.
- No public partner records. Customers can read only a restricted public profile — name, rating and verified status. Phone numbers, payment references and push tokens are never exposed.
- Browsing needs no account. You can look without giving us anything.
6. How long we keep it
- Account data — while your account is open, then up to 90 days after closure.
- Booking and payment records — up to 8 years, as required by Indian tax and accounting law.
- KYC documents — while the professional is active, and for as long afterwards as the law requires.
- Diagnostic logs — typically 90 days.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access is restricted by server-enforced rules rather than trusting the app: the client cannot read another user’s bookings, cannot read private partner records, and cannot write the fields that govern payment or approval. Private documents are stored in non-public storage reachable only through short-lived, server-issued links.
No system is perfectly secure. We do not warrant that a breach can never occur, and our liability in that event is limited as set out in our Disclaimer.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete your account and its data, or withdraw a permission you previously gave (such as location or notifications).
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out, and some records must be retained for the statutory periods above even after account deletion. To make a request, email grievance@fixorazone.com from your registered number’s account or with enough detail for us to verify you.
9. Children
The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Cookies
This website is a static site and sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The apps use local device storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is the one published here, with the date shown at the top.
